Advantages of implantation
Implants have several advantages over other methods of tooth replacement, such as bridges and dentures. They are strong and durable, allowing for the restoration of the function and aesthetics of the dental arch. Additionally, implants do not require the grinding down of healthy neighboring teeth, as is the case with bridgework.
Who is recommended for dental implantation?
Implantation of teeth is necessary in the following cases:
- Loss of one or several teeth due to trauma, caries, gum disease, or bone tissue diseases.
- Absence of teeth (complete or partial edentulism).
- Inability to install a bridge or removable denture or discomfort when wearing them.
Implant placement options
There are two main methods for implant placement:
One-stage implantation (express implantation) - involves implant placement and temporary crown in one procedure without incision of soft tissues and bone. This method can be performed with immediate loading (with the installation of a temporary crown immediately) or delayed loading (a crown is installed after implant integration).
Two-stage implantation - a dental implant is first inserted into the jawbone, and after the gums and bone have healed (usually 2-3 months after implantation), a crown is installed.
It is important to remember that after losing a tooth, the bone can atrophy, so it is not advisable to delay implantation. Experts recommend performing implantation simultaneously with tooth extraction or no later than 2-3 months after its removal.

Treatment at IODENT clinic
At IODENT clinic, we use modern technologies and methods of dental implantation to provide our clients with high-quality and painless treatment. Before starting the treatment, the patient undergoes computer tomography and 3D scanning of the dental arches, which allows us to gather three-dimensional data and display it in a single 3D scheme.
Our team of professionals uses digital protocols and methods for dental implantation planning with subsequent prosthetics and installation of orthopedic structures. Artificial intelligence, which controls every stage of the procedure, helps to identify all signs of bone tissue and tooth damage in just a few minutes.
After analyzing the clinical condition, we create a 3D-printed template that accurately transfers the position of the implant placement into the patient's oral cavity. This method ensures minimal errors during implant placement and reduces the trauma and duration of the procedure.
